Holly T. Browde

Holly Browde is a transactional lawyer specializing in all facets of the music business.  Holly was V.P., Music Business and Legal Affairs at the Walt Disney Company and has a broad and varied experience of the industry, having worked at Polygram Records, the Left Bank Organization (artist management), Polygram Music Publishing, Tonos Entertainment, Inc. (digital startup) and in private practice.  She has a keen awareness of operational realities and practical issues and is exceptionally skilled at prioritizing her clients’ needs.  Holly has been admitted to practice in New York since 1981 and is also admitted in California. She is a partner in the firm.

Production agreements, including third-party production company agreements, individual producer agreements, demo agreements, contingent royalty agreements, guest artist clearances and remix agreements

Independent label agreements, including agreements between artist and label and between label and distributor.

Composer agreements for film, television, interactive games, production music libraries and advertising.

Merchandising agreements in connection with retail, tour and online merchandising, photographer agreements, logo, cover art and endorsement agreements.

Touring agreements for featured artists, band members and side artists, agency agreements, insurance matters, equipment rental, agreements with promoters, publicists, tour managers, roadies, drivers and other support staff.
